Edward Miller
Hi, I am Edward! I have been taking photos since I was 5 years old. Of course, back then it was with a film camera and capturing landscapes, buildings and my favorite animals. My passion really kicked in once I started college at Southwest Mississippi Community College in 2012 as the college yearbook editor. If I wanted vibrant and life-filled yearbook photos it was up to me to capture those moments. Whatever happened on campus was documented by my camera; portraits, sporting events, and student government activities. With a Canon Rebel T3i kit in hand, community members and classmates started asking for senior portraits, family photos, and finally WEDDING DAY photos! Once the wedding coverage started, it only increased year after year. In 2016 I was first introduced to wedding videography as an assistant to Hannah H, an awesome photographer/videographer friend based in NOLA! From that day on I took on the challenge of learning the art of videography. After a few weddings it became clear that something was different about wedding videography; it provides the ability to capture and tell a couple’s love story in a way that photography can’t. With video, you can hear the joyful, tear-filled moments; fathers and grooms gasping at the sight of their beautiful bride, shaky voices giving heartfelt vows, the cheers as the best man toasts the newly wed couple. A few years later at the end of 2021, I left my “day job” at The University of Southern Mississippi to become fully committed to serving couples, individuals, and families any day of the week.
